Therapy & Coaching
Therapy and Coaching are similar in that each help a client achieve goals and focus on change. However, individuals seeking therapy are often seeking help with a mental health concern, such as symptoms of depression or anxiety. With coaching, there is no presumption that a client has a diagnosable condition. Therapy is considered a health care service and is often covered by medical insurance. Because the focus of coaching is not addressing a health concern, it is not covered by insurance.
